Application of Labels and Tamper Evident on Cigarette Boxes for Canada Customer
Introduction:
Responding to the specific requests of our Canadian customer, we have taken on the challenge of designing a compact cigarette box tamper evident labeling machine with a reduced length of 1.8 meters, down from the initial 3 meters. and speed need to reach up to 200 boxes per minute. This blog post will provide an overview of the modifications we made to meet these new dimensions while ensuring the machine's functionality and versatility.
Machine Length Adjustment:
Our customer's primary concern was the overall length of the machine, which they needed to be reduced from the initial 3 meters to 1.8 meters. We have worked diligently to reconfigure the machine's layout, making it more compact without compromising its performance.
Belt-Powered Operation:
The machine continues to operate using a 25mm wide belt powered by a motor. The belt width remains suitable for handling a range of product sizes, ensuring smooth operation and flexibility in accommodating various label dimensions.
Electrical Specifications:
As initially stated, the machine's motors operate on 220V at 50Hz, providing the necessary power for reliable performance. The programmable logic controller (PLC) still operates on 24VDC, maintaining a stable and low-voltage control system.
Adapting to Labeling Requirements:
The challenge of accommodating a wide range of label sizes remains a priority. The machine is designed to handle labels with lengths ranging from 15 to 100mm and widths from 15 to 60mm, consistent with the customer's needs. Maintaining the label's length-to-width ratio within 4 and ensuring consistent lengths on both sides, with a length ratio of 1.5 after folding, remains a key consideration.
Meeting Speed Requirements:
The customer has requested that the machine operates at a speed range of 150-200 boxes per minute. To meet this demand, we've fine-tuned the machine's operational parameters, ensuring that it can efficiently process cigarette boxes at the desired rate without compromising accuracy and quality.
Conclusion:
Designing a compact cigarette box labeling machine has been an exciting endeavor. We have successfully adapted the machine's length to meet the customer's specific requirements, reducing it to 1.8 meters while maintaining its performance and flexibility. With the continued use of 220V 50Hz motors and a 24VDC PLC, we are confident that this machine will provide the efficiency and reliability that our customer expects.
